IAG was engaged by TfNSW as the commercial and transaction advisory for asset management services across a number of assets, including:

• Western Harbour Tunnel and Sydney Harbour Tunnel
• Western Harbour Tunnel Tolling procurement
• M6 Stage 1
• Cycle 2 of the Sydney Roads Asset Performance Contract (SRAPC); and
• Various rail assets.

IAG has also supported TfNSW on a range of complex asset management and procurement engagements through commercial advisory by providing commercial leadership, negotiation support, contract management and transition into service delivery to address delivery, construction and operational challenges while maintaining program continuity.

IAG’s success has been underpinned by clear success factors, including the development of bespoke commercial frameworks, high-quality and timely documentation, adaptive procurement methodologies and strong integration across multidisciplinary workstreams. This approach has delivered strong outcomes for TfNSW, including the successful award of its first asset management delivery model in 2022 and a subsequent award in 2024, meeting tight program requirements and receiving positive market feedback on the quality and management of the procurement processes.
